Fourth Annual Meeting of the European Research Network Analysis and Operators

Netherlands, May 1 - May 7, 2004

The fourth and final annual meeting of the EEC Research Training Network Analysis and Operators (Contract No. HPRN-CT-2000-00116) is organized by the Dutch node and will be held from Saturday May 1 (arrival) through Friday May 7 (departure) at hotel De Bron, a conference center at Dalfsen in the eastern part of the Netherlands.

The registration and welcome reception will be on Saturday May 1 from 16.00 until 19.00 in the Herbergzaal. At 19.30 dinner will be served for all participants.

Program

The meeting will consist of mini-courses, invited lectures and half-hour contributed talks. The following mini-courses are scheduled: Conference location All activities will take place in hotel De Bron, Oude Oever 10, Dalfsen, in a very attractive country side along the river Vecht, located in the eastern part of the country, close to the city Zwolle (map). Registration

Special prices for full board accomodation have been arranged for all participants of the meeting. Therefore it is important to register soon (before April 15 at a special price) using the registration form.

Location and Access

De Bron is situated near the city of Zwolle (15 minute drive), an important hub for motorways as well as train routes with direct connections to and from Schiphol International Airport, Amsterdam (90 minute drive).

For those of you arriving at Schiphol airport, the train station is in the main arrival hall. You have to take the intercity to Deventer which leaves from track 2 (spoor 2 in Dutch) at x.21 and x.51 (x being the hour). For the x.21 train you have to change trains at Amersfoort but that is easy: get out and cross the platform.

In Deventer change trains to Zwolle (cross the platform) and in Zwolle go to track 14 (spoor 14 in Dutch) and take the train to Dalfsen which leaves at x.22 and x.55. We plan to meet you at the Dalfsen station on saturday afternoon.

For further details, see the web page of the Dutch rail. Usually there is a direct train to Zwolle from the airport, but due to railroad construction works during the weekend one has to take the train to Deventer and then change to Zwolle. During the week you can take the intercity to Zwolle which leaves from track 2 (spoor 2 in Dutch) at x.21 and x.51 (x being the hour). The train has as its final destination Leeuwarden/Groningen or Deventer/Enschede. The train of x.21 is direct to Zwolle. When you take the train of x.51 you have to change trains at Amersfoort but that is easy: get out and cross the platform.

In Zwolle go to track 14 (spoor 14 in Dutch) and take the train to Dalfsen which leaves at x.55.

Upon arrival in Dalfsen train station one can also call a taxi: Taxi Centrale Raalte Goldkampstraat 12 7722 RN, Dalfsen, phone: 0529 - 43 33 34 (around EURO 15). Another possibility is to take a taxi upon arrival in Zwolle, there are taxis available outside the station or one can call 038-4222333 (around EURO 38) to ask for a taxi.
