René Pannekoek

PhD student (Dutch: AiO or promovendus) in the research group Number Theory and Algebra. My research interest is the arithmetic of K3 surfaces. Among other things, I have studied the density of rational points in the p-adic topology on diagonal quartic surfaces and Kummer surfaces (see these slides for example).

• My master's thesis, entitled "Parametrizations over Q of cubic surfaces". Its subject is cubic surfaces in P³. In chapter 2, some of the classically known facts about smooth cubic surfaces are explained.
