From 31 July to 4 August, I organise a workshop on Algorithms in Number Theory and Arithmetic Geometry.


Martin Bright and I organise the local algebra, geometry and number theory seminar.

Mathematical software

For my research, I often use the free* mathematical software systems PARI/GP and Sage. I regularly contribute to Sage by adding new features, fixing bugs and improving existing code. I have also made a number of contributions to PARI/GP.

* Free as in "free speech", not only as in "free beer"; see the GNU project.

The modgalrep package

I wrote a software package called modgalrep for computing Galois representations attached to modular forms over finite fields. Available at Gitlab.
