Local factors of zeta functions of algebraic varieties. This is a translation of the article Facteur locaux des fonctions zêta des variétés algébriques by J.P. Serre.

I wrote my bachelor's thesis, titled Tannaka Duality for Finite Groups, in the spring of 2011 under the supervision of Lenny Taelman.
