Stieltjes afternoon on Thursday October 16 at EURANDOM
The Stieltjes afternoon of 2003 is organized at EURANDOM
in Eindhoven.
There will be lectures by Prof. G. Slade (University
of British Columbia) and Prof. B. Nienhuis
(Universiteit van Amsterdam). Further, there will
be a presentation of the Stieltjes Prize for the best
Ph.D. thesis at the Stieltjes institute in 2003,
and a lecture by the Stieltjes Prize winner.
