This is a standard course in algebraic number theory. In particular, we study domains A whose additive group is isomorphic to Zn for some integer n>0, and whose field of fractions is a finite extension of the field of rational numbers. We also intend to discuss algorithmic aspects of these rings using the system Sage.
We will follow the lecture notes "Number Rings" [PDF] by Peter Stevenhagen.
